They charge extra fee for late check in without showing...
They charge extra fee for late check in without showing clearly the rule on the website when people book. And it’s very loud because the door is too old.

I liked the location, right next to the subway- the common...
I liked the location, right next to the subway- the common area was nice- there was room for all 3 of us in the room and it was pretty quiet.
It reeked of cigarettes. Like, can’t breathe all consuming smoke from people in the hostel smoking inside to the point where I couldn’t keep the windows open because even that made it worse. I smoke. As a smoker I couldn’t handle it- that’s all I’m saying. I’m assuming it would depend on who’s staying there for that complaint- also we came back to the hostel for drinks on a Saturday night after getting rained out of town because they said their bar was open until 11- and there was no one there who worked there- the entire rest of the night- so we couldn’t get beer which sucked and all the shops were closed so plan ahead.

It was fine for a short stay, the price was great if you are on a budget.
The accommodation was fine, in a good area. I stayed one night. It is like a hostel situation, with the room being private. You share the bathroom and can use the kitchen. They were in the process of renovating to have a vegetarian restaurant. The bed was super comfortable and was in a loft, needing to climb a ladder to it. The entrance of the room had acouch you could sleep on. So for the price you could sleep 2-3 people. A towel was provided. For a longer stay I would prefer my own bathroom. However that is because of my age. I am no longer a student. It was just fine for one night.
You can hear people coming in and out of their room. An depending who is there you can hear the people taking.

great atmosphere enthusiastic young proprietors all in all very pleasant and welcoming hotel
This is a great place to stay and would recommend if staying longer than a night it would make a great base metro right over the road amazing people woking there and superb bakery downstairs they are working very hard are remodelling and i think they have done a great job the place is very comfortable and has a great vibe all the people i met who worked there are very enthusiastic and friendly, definitely liked this place
the only thing i can think of, is that the lower rooms can be a bit noisy when people come back at night the wooden floors and stairs need something to soften the footsteps of other guests
